secondly... late game, that will make the bomb INSTA kill... cmon now... That is kinda the point It is the spirit bomb after all. It killed Turles, it killed Wheelo, it killed Lord Slug, it killed Super 13, and it killed Kid Buu. What is the point of making such a sacrifice if its not going to insta-kill whomever it is used on? No one is going to sacrifice half their mana to just weaken someone and then be totally vulnerable due to the same lack of mana.

That is kinda the point It IS the point. The spirit bomb has been and always will be an end game spell. Its known for its massive power and ability to finish off opponents. As KCG said , If it didnt insta kill them or bring them to near death (like 50 hp ), it would be pointless.

Yeah it would be instant kill Maybe its like that in the anime, but if the game was like the anime and the z fighters would always win then where is the point in playing an evil character

The spirit bomb CAN be avoided. Not to mention the fact that you can disrupt goku's concentration while hes powering it up.

Well unlike the anime this game has six seemingly unstoppable villains all going at the heroes at the same time.
Things would have turned out very differently if Goku was preparing a spirit bomb against Lord Slug or Super 13 when suddenly
KAKOROTTO!!!
Broly flies in and sucker punches Goku in the throat.

But in the anime Goku didn't fight Cell/Buu/Broly with SS4 Anyway, if his concentration is stoppable, it'd be okay I think.

Just remeber, some people were able to survive the spirt bomb. Vegeta barely did and Freiza, actually got more powerful after being hit and goku was charging that thing for a good 5-10 episodes lol

It would give the victim an opportunity to flee and eat a senzu or regen.

Yeah, this spirit bomb idea sounds like a good plan. However, it's got to take something big to disrupt Goku's concentration ... after all, it's fairly easy to just run past the other z fighters and go straight for Goku's throat, thus stopping him from using the bomb. I'm not sure how to prevent this though. Any ideas?
BTW, just so you know, the spirit bomb didn't kill Turles. The planet was too weak by the time Goku used it to form a powerful enough bomb, and Turles just engulfed it with his own energy blast. Goku defeated Turles by taking the energy from the Tree of Might into himself, making him more powerful by far than Turles, who had just eaten a single fruit.
Sorry, just saw this movie yesterday ;D

Yes, but the energy taken from the tree was used in the form of a Spirit Bomb if memory serves me.

It didn't look like one to me. Goku just sort of swiped his hand at Turles and an energy blast wiped him out. However, I just looked at an offical synopsis of the movie which says that Goku did in fact make a spirit bomb out of that energy. Sorry, guess I misinterpreted it.

How much mana would be required from goku? What would be the channeling time? And if possible, instead of a dialogue popping up, which may disrupt gameplay, let them type in like -45% or something. Also, why not make it an ability added at a certain level through triggers (since the max hero abilities are 5). If you set tornado to a blank summoned unit it will keep channeling and you can detect easily when it stops and stuff. Plus, by basing it off a channeling ability, it will automatically be stopped by stun and goku can disrupt it himself. For the graphic I would suggest a wisp which grows by 50% for every 200 mana absorbed or something. Also, to help with the effects and to take into account distance, when a person decides to give energy, why not spawn a unit at its spot with X amount of life, X being the mana they wish to give, order the unit to move to goku (give it a cool projectile graphic) and detect when it gets there and add its life to the damage by the bomb. Also, before you give or when goku begins channeling, they should have to be in their normal form, no SS, it can give a larger boost to mana and it can make goku almost too hard to disrupt. Also, which characters will not be allowed to give? For example, dead ones, ones in torney, ones in buus belly, ones in time chamber, etc.?

Either have the range the entire map or...make everything freeze when its being casted. Otherwise while people wait to make their selection the enemy will be loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong gone.
