Since I have a 17" LCD monitor I use 1280x1024 - it is the native resolution of the monitor that does not use interpolation. In other words, it looks best!

actually, the bigger your screen, the bigger resolution you need.
1024x768 is recommended for a 17 inch. but if i had a 15 inch one, i'd still use it. i never go anything less than 1024x768.

Exactly and I have a 20.1-inch Wide Aspect Flat Panel LCD Monitor so that resolution looks best on mine.

fair enough 21 inch widescreen is coolio but to be honest my 17 inch is huge so i imagine when you play warcraft you get a pretty good quality game
