btw RTFM means = Read The Fucking Manual. also, it's not a nat if it's not in your modem, second i have a moterola surfboard aswell, it doesn't give me problems, disable nortons internet features, and disable windows xp firewall, it sucks and is hackable anyways, so no need for it, if you don't believe me go google for it.
btw on questions like this, GOOGLE is your best friend, virtually anything you need to know about firewalls and stuff can be found there. also i would suggest you make sure every outgoing packets are allowed.
i suggest sygate firewall, verry good, verry profesional (atleast if you have the profesional version)

dude for most routers with a fire wall or modams there is a setting in it called the DMZ - demolition military zone or something like that and next to that there is a ip adress u gotta put in. put that in and it osuld be taken off. the thing is im not sure how to get the dmz ip adress.

Last I heard, port 6112 still worked for ALL firewalls/routers. Try changing the port # to 6112 if the firewall has WC3 as an exception. And, if all else fails, you get the pleasant knowlege of KNOWING no n00bs will join your games. A true blessing if you ask me.
Don't forget to open the same port in WC3 under options.
